ORIGIN STORY
CT Sounds was born in Houston, TX in 2013 by founder & CEO – Coleman Thedinger. With extensive experience and knowledge in the car audio industry, he identified gaps in the marketplace that would greatly benefit audio enthusiasts all around the world.
In his early 20’s he envisioned a company that could offer high-quality product at an affordable cost, and he did just that. He embarked on his journey in 2010 before facing many obstacles along the way that has made CT Sounds what it is today. His drive? Pure passion and dedication to bring you the best car audio products out.
Brief Timeline
In 2008, Coleman’s love for the car audio industry and vision to improve it was just the beginning of the empire he has built for himself and the community. It was at this time he developed a burning desire to learning everything he could to develop new, innovative ways of doing things.
Through faith and persistence, he launched many of his initial products in 2010 – running under the brand name “AudioTechnix”. Hard work quickly paid off as his line took off and sales began to explode. In just a short period of time went from storing inventory in his garage to later leasing out his first 1,250 sq. ft. warehouse facility!
Although his rapid success, many challenges and struggles have been part of his journey. In 2013, he faced trademark issues which led to the pivot in name. It was then, rebranding efforts took place and CT Sounds was the newfound brand. Eventually expanding and selling in 1,000+stores worldwide! Fast forward to present day, we’ve become a strictly online-based brand – selling on Amazon and Shopify.

CT Sounds was originally founded on the principle of customer first. So, for 2019, we sought out to fix this. At the end of 2018, we began rapidly expanding our team. I can now say we now have an awesome support team! We are replying and resolving customer inquiries FASTER than ever before! We provide 24-hour a day support 7 days a week! EASY RETURNS
In 2018 we decided to build a self-service return center where customers can process returns and warranties all on their own, any time of the day and we even offer a pre-paid return label making the return process easier than ever before. Here at CT Sounds we are all about getting our customers their orders as FAST as possible while also getting it affordable and in this case even FREE in the continental United States! We store our products in Amazon fulfillment centers around the United States. This allows us to ship products to customers quickly. Our main warehouse is in Houston, Texas and this is where all the products come first before being sent to Amazon fulfillment Centers across the US. When you order from CT Sounds rest assured you will have your products in your hand quickly as we even delivery items on Saturday and Sunday in many areas.
AMPLIFIERS
We offer Monoblock and Multichannel amplifiers. They are available in 4 different series with both Class AB and Class D options available. If you are in need of a new car audio amplifier you are at the right place!
SPEAKERS
We carry a variety of speakers available in different sizes. Some of our speakers have really good midbass and others are so loud they will make your ears bleed. We offer something for everyone's taste and budget!
SUBWOOFERS
Our subwoofers come in sizes as small as 6.5 Inch and as big as 18 Inch. We have all the sizes in between too (8", 10", 12", 15"). Our best selling size is 8" but don't let the small size fool you, they pack a serious punch!
